During Day 1 you will get a deep insight into the Chinese Vehicle and Telematics Market.

China, with it's openness to adopt new ideas and innovation has already become a strong driving force in the development of Telematics Services. What can we learn from what is happening in China? And if we want to make business with China, what are the Opportunities and Challenges? Come and get the answers from our chinese speakers and European companies active in China.

The first subject on Day 2 addresses a huge challenge for the Telematics Industry.

How to solve the data and information flow between transport operators and travellers when Deregulating the Public Transport Market in a country, while also expecting a huge increase in commuting by public transporty? The traveler will expect a convenient, seamless and reliable service from the combined public transport sector consisting of both the incumbent public operator and new commercial operators. Besides being a specific challenge for the Public Transport sector it is also a general issue of how to master real time traffic information quality and user interfaces.

Understand the challenges and listen to experiences from countries where the de-regulation has been implemented.

The conference Day 2 finishes with looking at key Telematics Technology Issues that will influence the development of the Telematics Market.

You will get an understanding of some of the key prerequisites for delivering Telematics Services in the future.

- Get an in-depth description of the Navigation and POI market in China.

- What are the challenges to encounter for a European Service Supplier entering the Chinese market?

- What are the current trends within IPR in China?

- If you want to start or expand your business in China, what are the pitfalls and opportunities? Learn the procedures and understand how to get started.

Day 2 (Block 1 ) - Deregulation of the Public Transport Market - Consequences - Mobile Information Needs?

- Get an overview of the deregulation process in Europe and feedback on experiences.

- In sweden the "Doubilng project" has been launched i.e. double the number of commuters using public transports.
How is this going to be accomplished? What are the key issues to address? 

- What is needed from a travelers perspective to justify a change in e.g. commuting behaviour? What services, tools and information?

- UK is the European country that has deregulated the public transport system most. What are their experiences? What advise can they give to other countries especially when it comes to generate, wirelessly transmit and create useful interfaces for travelers?

- What Telematics Services will be required to satisfy the future travelers. Both from service providers and service suppliers perspective and with a global comparison.
- How can an international bus OEM support local public transport authorities to improve their services? 

Day 2 (Block 2) - New technologies for Telematics.

What is the mobile network evolution the coming 5 years and what role will the short range communication play. Listen to what a leading telecom supplier see as the future.

- Get a European network operators perspective on on the mobile network evolutionto meet the specific special demands from the Telematics Industry? What is required to build a pan-european solution and what more than network access will operators provide?

- "Internet of things" how will this create new business opportunities when more and more machines are connected over the Internet. New vertical markets are appearing. What new telematics services will be offered via the M2M infrastructure?

-Sort out the differences between some important recent platform initiatives with impact on Telematics Services also addressing Open Platforms versus Safety/Driver Distraction. How to make the best balance for the benefit of Telematics Services?

- What is the vehicle OEM's view?  How to approach tomorrows telematics issues? Will they open up their platforms for external developers and start to create "app-stores"? Come and get the answers?

We offer exhibition space as well as a possibility to book smaller conference rooms for you to make your own commercial presentations.

Price for an exhibition space for a non-member is 20,000 SEK (included is 1 (one) 2 day pass + ticket for dinner on the 6:th)

For a 20 minutes presentation during the coktail party the price for a non-member is 12,000 SEK (included is 1 (one) 2 day pass).
